Q
Lead-Time ?
A
Standard project orders typically ship in 2-10 days from our North Caroline warehouse.
Q
T-6 lamp ?
A
is the diameter measurement of the lamp (six-eighths of an inch). The lamp, socket, and ballast are made by NIPPO.
Q
Lamp Life ?
A
The average lamp life is rated at 25,000 hours (3 hours per start).
Q
Lamp Output ?
A
The T-6 lumen output is comparable to a T-5 fluorescent lamp. Output exceeds 800 lumens/ft (85 lumens/watt average), consuming 9-10 watts/ft.
Q
Lamp color Temperature ?
A
Seamlessline offers a full range of color temperatures; 2500K, 2800K, 3000K, 3500K, 4200K, 5000K, 6700K
Q
What is the CRI ?
A
Even with such a wide range of color temperatures, all maintain a consistent 88 CRI.
Q
What is the CRI ?
A
Even with such a wide range of color temperatures, all maintain a consistent 88 CRI.
Q
Lamp Brightness vs. Length ?
A
There is no noticeable difference in brightness between various lamp lengths.
Q
Lamp Lengths ?
A
The Seamlessline product family was designed with 5 lengths to offer the designer the ability to mix lamp lengths for needed continuous run dimension and illumination.
Seamlessline lengths (nominal) = 20”, 34”, 40”, 50”, and 60”.
Q
Dimming ?
A
Seamlessline offers dimming & non-dimming fixtures in 120 or 277 volts. Dimming version is dimmable down to 10% with no flicker or striation (except for the shortest 500 (20”) length due to ballast size constraints).
The “M” designation in the Seamlessline fixture model number denotes dimming.
Q
Dimming components ?
A
DC to PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) Converter or lnterface unit is needed to control up to 20 - 25 Seamlessline fixtures per dimming circuit.
The Seamlessline Converter can be mounted up to 330° from the fixture.
Q
Dimmer Compatibility ?
A
Please consult NIPPO for an up-to-date listing as testing is ongoing in addition to technological advances in dimming.
Approved & tested are select Lutron, Leviton, Marlin, ETC and Hunt controls to name a few.
Q
Indoor or Outdoor use ?
A
Seamlessline is presently rated for indoor use only.
Q
Operational Temperature ?
A
The recommended operational temperature is 40° to 105° Fahrenheit.
Q
THD ?
A
Seamlessline fixtures have a total harmonic distortion of 18% or less.
Q
UL Approved ?
A
Seamlessline fixtures, lamps, ballasts, and sockets are all UL Approved.
Q
Safety Wire ?
A
The safety wire at the socket of each fixture is not required by UL but is included for use of vertical and inverted installation.
Q
Advantages over T-5 Lamps ?
A
The Seamlessline T-6 system out- performs T-5 lamped fixtures by offering dimming down to 10% with lower lamp heat.
Q
Advantages over Cold Cathode ?
A
Seamlessline operates at standard voltages, is more efficient, and is quick and easy to install.
